thanks scott for the welcome. Indeed the biblical interpretation is so far a challenging class. It is as well teaching me not take scriptures literally.
You are my friends if you do what I command. I know longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I call you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
John 15: 14-15
Hello Scott: I am sorry but somehow I missed this question. The greatest lesson I have learnt lately about leadership is that Jesus offered friendship leadership -Jesus Had a Life Assignment that always included Friendship
Leadership definition: Taking people to places they would never go alone!
Long before Jesus called his disciples officially friends He showed them what friendship was:
The only thing that was predictable was Jesus knew himself and knew others very well
He developed a friendship individually with each disciple. He understood that Peter needed to be challenged in his own strength so he predicted peter would deny him 3 times at the most crucial hour of need.
2. John he allowed him to rest his head on Jesus’s shoulder hours before death
Jesus knew his disciples their strengths and weaknesses, but he focused on what they would become. He was like Michaelangelo who stated, “ I saw an angel in the stone and I carved it to set it free.” That is the goal of a Friend- to see the angel carved in stone and work to set it free.
When we go to buy a car and decide we like the color red do you notice all the cars you see are red. You get what you focus on in friendship leadership.
It takes a clear mindset of seeing the angel in stone in yourself and in others and then focus on the right next answer for them.
Hope that answers your question! That is my final answer for today- stay tuned, leadership is never static. Catherine

I believe that I am the most blessed of all His children... He has now provided me with a car so that I can go out and evangelize... This will be a walk (or drive) of faith... I have a church in Missouri that would like for me to come speak... there are also may pastors who I met in Detroit who I think would open their pulptis to me... I know that through all of this God will provide the necessary funding to go to Australia to preach with barry... Pray that doors might open for me to go... God has the Itenerary and Im just following... I love this!!! He has never ceased to amaze me when I follow by faith...
Pray that I may be accepted where ever He leads me...
How cool is this, I still don't know how it this works!! But it sure is inspirational. Thanks love and lots of fresh power in the Holy Spirit today. Happy Mom's Day Dawn!!!! Scott what are you up to here. Did you create this site? Linda
